Updates to our Cuba Express Shipping Services in Response to COVID-19

We appreciate your invaluable patience during this unprecedented time. Since the beginning of the COVID 19 pandemic, parcel shipments to Cuba have been affected, mainly in the processing and delivery services at destination. Although sailings have resumed, high cargo volume of undelivered packages forces us to limit sailing frequency to two (2) per month for NON-commercial cargo (parcels and miscellaneous).

"Home Delivery" service is available for all provinces in Cuba and the "Direct Pick Up" services have been resumed for recipients residing in Havana, Artemisa and Mayabeque.

We are aware of the inconvenience this has caused you. Currently, we are working together with Cubapack to resolve the situation as soon as possible, respecting local requirements beyond our control.

We continue to process orders in Miami

We will continue to process with donations or miscellaneous items orders that arrive at our warehouse in Miami through regular mail (USPS), FedEx, UPS, etc.

Please ensure that the packages sent to our Miami warehouse are properly labeled to ensure proper handling. How-to instructions can be found below:

How to Prepare the Label

On the box's label, please make sure the address on the box reads as follows:

Your Name and Last Name

*It is very important that the shipping label includes Crowley Cuba Express to avoid any error or inconveniences that could delay the shipping process.

*Remember to consult the list of approved gift parcels allowed to be shipped, and also review the details about how to prepare your miscellaneous items. Miscellaneous items CANNOT be shipped together with Gift Parcels.


Online Purchases

Once you receive confirmation of your purchase from the online store, you should send an email to cubalcl@crowley.com and provide the tracking number (UPS, FedEx, USPS, etc.). It is VERY IMPORTANT that in this email you include the recipient's details:

  • Name and surname of the recipient
  • Complete address in Cuba
  • Contact telephone number
  • Identity Card Number of the recipient in Cuba

We are currently shipping to Cuba with the additional at-home delivery service. Pick up services is only available for recipients residing in Havana, Artemisa and Mayabeque. Recipients who expect items over 100 pounds will qualify for pick up.

Starting January 1, 2021, the payment for customs services will increase from the current $10.00 CUP / Cuban pesos to $50.00 CUP per package or bag, including packages that are pending dispatch and in containers waiting to be processed.
 
Also as of January 1, 2021, duty payments at destination for packages that exceed the $30.00 USD, tax-free, will now be done in Cuban pesos at the established exchange rate of 1 USD = 24 CUP / Cuban pesos.
